Good morning/afternoon, dear teachers.
It’s my honor to present my teaching ideas. I’ll introduce this lesson from 5 parts:
- The Analysis of the Teaching Material and the Students
- Teaching Aims/Objectives
- Teaching Method and Learning Method
- Teaching Procedure and Blackboard Design
1. The Analysis of the Teaching Material and Students
- Teaching Material:
Example: This lesson is from… The topic of this lesson is… which will arouse students’ interest. From the pictures and contents, we can see... They provide a real context for communication.
- Students:
Example: Grade... students are curious about... They like playing games, so in my class, I’ll design... games/activities to activate them and use questions to develop their thinking abilities.
2. Teaching Aims/Objectives

- Ability Aims:Example: The ability aims of this lesson are...
- Moral and Cultural Aims:Example: The moral and cultural aims of this lesson are...
- Learning/Thinking Objectives:Example: The learning/thinking objectives are...

3. Teaching Method and Learning Method
- The major teaching method I will adopt is Task-based Language Teaching.Example: This method will help students...
- The learning method will focus on… (e.g., active participation, collaborative learning, etc.)
4. Teaching Procedure and Blackboard Design
- Teaching Procedure:The procedure consists of 5 steps:
- Lead-in: (3 minutes) Here I use... The purpose is to... By doing this, the students can…
- Pre-While-Post: or Lead-in, Presentation, Practice, Production, Summary, and Homework.
- Step 1: Lead-in: (e.g., A warm-up activity to engage students' prior knowledge or interest).
- Step 2: Presentation: (Introduce new material, concepts, or language).
- Step 3: Practice: (Students practice the new knowledge or skills).
- Step 4: Production: (Students use the language or knowledge in real-world scenarios).
- Step 5: Summary and Homework: (Review key points and assign homework).
5. Blackboard Design
- Blackboard Design:Example: Here’s the target language, the mindmap/semantic mapping...I will organize the lesson visually on the board to help students better understand and memorize key concepts.
